University Sports Centre

The University Sports Centre has recently undergone a major £14 million refurbishment and now provides some of the best sports facilities in Scotland.

The centre offers a wide range of sporting activities, fitness classes and professional services to students, staff and the local St Andrews community, catering for all age groups and all levels of ability. Our facilities are now better than ever before and our team of dedicated Sport Assistants are always on hand to show you around and answer any questions that you may have.

The new indoor facilities feature an 8-court sports arena, a 120-station gym and a dedicated strength and conditioning suite for our performance teams and athletes. 2018 also saw the addition of a brand new indoor tennis centre.

The facilities at University Park have been used by many professional teams and athletes when visiting St Andrews, including Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, Luke Donald and other European Tour players who have praised the quality of our facilities and staff.

  • “The golf programme they have at St Andrews is a great option for players who want top level academics but do not want to compromise on the quality of the golf programme - it's a special opportunity to be a student athlete in the Home of Golf.”
