BUCS Tour – Dundonald Tournament

The BUCS Tour continues with the first event of 2017, the Dundonald tournament. With the host venue staging the Scottish Open on the European Tour this summer it is sure to be in excellent condition and prove challenging for the players.
This 54 hole event counts towards the BUCS Order of Merit and carries WAGR points, both a men’s and ladies individual stroke play tournament will be played over the three days.
Saints Golf is sending a strong contingent of players hoping to secure points that will carry them to the BUCS Tour Finals in April.Results
SSS Scottish Championships
Lossiemouth Golf Club - 26/03/2017
The Scottish Student Golf Championships will once again be held at the wonderful Lossiemouth GC and this historic event will mark the culmination of the qualifying BUCS Tour events of 2016/17.
The first 3 days will see both Men’s and Ladies 72 hole stroke play tournaments with WAGR points available.
The second part of the week comprises of the Scottish Team Championships, based on seedings from the stroke play event teams will play morning foursomes and afternoon singles with the final taking place on Friday 31st March. The Ladies match play will be an individual competition.Results
R&A Scholars Tournament
The Eden & Old Courses, St Andrews - 03/04/2017
This prestigious tournament brings R&A Scholars from all over the UK and Ireland together to compete over both the Eden Course and then the Old Course at St Andrews Links.
The players will have two rounds on the Eden Course on Monday 3rd April before moving to the Old Course on the morning of Tuesday 4th April.
One special feature of this tournament is the drinks reception on the Monday night, enabling players to go in the historic R&A Clubhouse.
BUCS Tour Finals
Prince's Golf Club, Kent - 10/04/2017
The culmination of the BUCS Tour takes place this year at Prince’s Golf Club in Kent. The top – 50 / top 12 in the men’s and ladies BUCS Order of Merit have qualified for this 72 hole event carrying WAGR points.
The winner will be crowned the BUCS Tour Champion of 2017.Results
XXIX International Amateur Invitational – Lima, Peru
Lima Golf Club - 19/04/2017
For the 5th consecutive year we have been honoured with an invite to this prestigious invitational tournament at the historic Lima Golf Club.
Two Saints Golf players, George Burns & Bjorn Bojesen, played their way into selection and will compete over 72 holes in both an individual and team event.
The field comprises of South American national teams, various American Golf Associations and a selection of invited institutions from around the world. The tournament also carries WAGR points.Results
BUCS National Championships – Finals
Moortown Golf Club - 25/04/2017
The BUCS National Championship reaches the finals stage with four teams competing over two days. The semi finals will be played on Tuesday 25th April and the final the following day.
Saints Golf have been drawn against Exeter in the semi final with the format of the match to comprise 3 sets of foursomes in the morning and 6 singles in the afternoon.Results
The Boyd Quaich
The Old & New Courses, St Andrews - 04/07/2017
The Boyd Quaich Memorial Golf Tournament will be played for the 69th time in July 2017 with invited teams of two male golfers being invited from around the world.
The tournament is individual stroke play and will be held on both the Old & New courses in St Andrews over 72 holes with WAGR points available.
In 2016 George Burns from Saints Golf lifted the trophy.Results
Stirling International – BUCS Tour Event
The Fairmont - Torrance Course - 05/09/2017
The opening event of the 2017-18 BUCS Tour, the Stirling International will take place over 3 days and 54 holes at the Fairmont Torrance course.
Saints Golf will send a strong contingent of players competing for BUCS Tour points with WAGR points also available.
European University Golf Championships
Liberec Golf Club, Czech Republic - 13/09/2017
By virtue of winning the team event at the season ending Tour Finals Saints Golf achieved qualification to the European University Golf Championships, held this year at Liberec Golf Club in the Czech Republic. This tournament will feature the leading University teams from across Europe in a 72 hole stroke play event featuring both individual and team elements, WAGR points are available.
Autumn Trophy – BUCS Tour Event
Blairgowrie Golf Club - Lansdowne Course - 01/10/2017
The second event on the BUCS Tour calendar moves to a new venue with the fantastic Blairgowrie Golf Club hosting on the Lansdowne course.
The tournament takes place over 3 days and 54 holes with players competing for BUCS Tour points with WAGR points also available.
Fife Tournament – BUCS Tour Event
The Fairmont - Kittocks Course - 13/10/2017
The third tournament on the 2017-18 BUCS Tour calendar will once again be hosted by Saints Golf at the Fairmont with 54 holes being played over the Kittocks course.
Players compete for BUCS Tour points with WAGR points also available.
The Patriot All-America
The Wigwam Resort, Phoenix, Arizona - 29/12/2017
Held in honour of fallen military servicemen the Patriot All-America is a top ranking US collegiate tournament. Saints Golf have been awarded an invite for two male players to travel and compete in Arizona.
As a special element to the tournament each participant will carry a special golf bag embroidered with the name of the serviceman they are honouring.

Exeter Invitational – BUCS Tour Event

For the first time in several years Saints Golf will send a team of players to Trevose for the Exeter Invitational, this will be the fourth tournament of the season for us on the BUCS Tour.

West of Scotland Trophy – BUCS Tour Event

The West of Scotland Trophy will be the fifth event of the year for Saints Golf on the BUCS Tour and this year moves to a new venue at the magnificent Western Gailes.
Played over 3 days and 54 holes players will compete for BUCS Tour points with WAGR points also available.
Scottish Student Championships
Moray Golf Club - 25/03/2018
This historic tournament once again returns to the fantastic Moray Golf Club for the culmination of the race for Tour Finals. The stroke play tournament will take place over both the Old and New courses over 3 days and 72 holes, at the conclusion of the tournament the Top 50 men and Top 15 Ladies on the Order of Merit will progress to the Tour Finals. The winner will be crowned the Scottish Student Champion.
Beginning on Wednesday 28th March the Team Match Play Championships will include University teams from across Scotland in a knockout format.
BUCS Tour Finals
Woodhall Spa - 15/04/2018
The BUCS Tour will come to a conclusion with the Top 50 Men and Top 15 Ladies competing at the excellent Woodhall Spa Golf Club, home of England Golf.
This is a 72 hole tournament played over 3 days and will award WAGR points, the points on offer will determine who will be crowned the BUCS Tour Champions for 2018.
