BUCS Tour – Dundonald Tournament

The BUCS Tour continues with the first event of 2017, the Dundonald tournament. With the host venue staging the Scottish Open on the European Tour this summer it is sure to be in excellent condition and prove challenging for the players.

This 54 hole event counts towards the BUCS Order of Merit and carries WAGR points, both a men’s and ladies individual stroke play tournament will be played over the three days.

Saints Golf is sending a strong contingent of players hoping to secure points that will carry them to the BUCS Tour Finals in April.


SSS Scottish Championships

Lossiemouth Golf Club - 26/03/2017

The Scottish Student Golf Championships will once again be held at the wonderful Lossiemouth GC and this historic event will mark the culmination of the qualifying BUCS Tour events of 2016/17.

The first 3 days will see both Men’s and Ladies 72 hole stroke play tournaments with WAGR points available.

The second part of the week comprises of the Scottish Team Championships, based on seedings from the stroke play event teams will play morning foursomes and afternoon singles with the final taking place on Friday 31st March. The Ladies match play will be an individual competition.


R&A Scholars Tournament

The Eden & Old Courses, St Andrews - 03/04/2017

This prestigious tournament brings R&A Scholars from all over the UK and Ireland together to compete over both the Eden Course and then the Old Course at St Andrews Links.

The players will have two rounds on the Eden Course on Monday 3rd April before moving to the Old Course on the morning of Tuesday 4th April.

One special feature of this tournament is the drinks reception on the Monday night, enabling players to go in the historic R&A Clubhouse.



BUCS Tour Finals

Prince's Golf Club, Kent - 10/04/2017

The culmination of the BUCS Tour takes place this year at Prince’s Golf Club in Kent. The top – 50 / top 12 in the men’s and ladies BUCS Order of Merit have qualified for this 72 hole event carrying WAGR points.

The winner will be crowned the BUCS Tour Champion of 2017.

XXIX International Amateur Invitational – Lima, Peru

Lima Golf Club - 19/04/2017

For the 5th consecutive year we have been honoured with an invite to this prestigious invitational tournament at the historic Lima Golf Club.

Two Saints Golf players, George Burns & Bjorn Bojesen, played their way into selection and will compete over 72 holes in both an individual and team event.

The field comprises of South American national teams, various American Golf Associations and a selection of invited institutions from around the world. The tournament also carries WAGR points.

BUCS National Championships – Finals

Moortown Golf Club - 25/04/2017

The BUCS National Championship reaches the finals stage with four teams competing over two days. The semi finals will be played on Tuesday 25th April and the final the following day.

Saints Golf have been drawn against Exeter in the semi final with the format of the match to comprise 3 sets of foursomes in the morning and 6 singles in the afternoon.

The Boyd Quaich

The Old & New Courses, St Andrews - 04/07/2017

The Boyd Quaich Memorial Golf Tournament will be played for the 69th time in July 2017 with invited teams of two male golfers being invited from around the world.

The tournament is individual stroke play and will be held on both the Old & New courses in St Andrews over 72 holes with WAGR points available.

In 2016 George Burns from Saints Golf lifted the trophy.
